Shoichi Itoh is an associate senior researcher at the Economic Research Institute of Northeast Asia. He is a specialist in Northeast Asian energy and environmental security. His recent research has focused on the changing energy needs and energy relations amongst China, Russia, Japan, and the United States in Northeast Asia.
